Calling CQ, calling CQ, a familiar radio greeting we utilized recently in several contests and events. Over 20 States and a Canadian Province were successfully contacted in the RTTY Contest. We also participated in Winter Field Day. Although not nearly by far as cold as the rest of the Country, our fingers still felt numb as we contacted stations across the US.

One of our favorite events is New Resident Orientation. This event allows us to talk about Ham radio to new residents and the many facets of the hobby. Occasionally we re-kindle.an interest in the hobby or introduce Ham radio to residents open to new experiences.

Meetings are held at the South Tower every Monday night at 6:30 PM. Our club conducts a weekly radio network at 7:00 PM every Monday on the W6LHR Repeater at 147.030 MHz, 167.9 PL.
