Art, KI6GYY and Dan, KN6DRN were on hand to greet folks after their New Resident Orientation meeting. It is always a pleasure discussing our hobby with new residents. Our members participated in two contests, the NA QSO Party one using RTTY and the next one using CW. Contacts were made during the California State Fair and a handsome QSL card was received from that contact. We attended the annual CCOC meeting and learned a few Club tips.

At our weekly meetings we were all interested in various videos presented by Art, KI6GYY, Jim, K6GYM and Julian, KO6EPL. Art’s “QSL Animation”, Julian’s “The Technology We Killed in the 1960s is Now Worth $3.3 Billion” and Jim’s “Where Time Comes From” were all fascinating.

Meetings are held at the South Tower every Monday night at 6:30 PM. Our club conducts a weekly radio network at 7:00 PM every Monday on the W6LHR Repeater at 147.030 MHz, 167.9 PL.
